Uhde Inventa-Fischer wins contract for PA-66 plant

The Huafon Group has chosen Uhde Inventa-Fischer as supplier for their latest project, a PA-66 plant to be built in Zhejiang Province, People’s Republic of China. Huafon Group is the biggest producer of polyurethanes in China.

The plant will have an annual capacity of 40,000 metric tons and will use Uhde Inventa-Fischer’s proprietary polyamide 66 batch process. The plant for Huafon includes batch polymerization, continuous AH-salt preparation and continuous SSP.

Uhde Inventa-Fischer’s scope of supply and services includes the licence, the basic engineering, supply of equipment and supervision of the erection and commissioning activities.
