Huntsman to Increase MDI and MDI-Based Systems Prices in Europe

The Polyurethanes division of Huntsman Corporation (HUN:NYSE) announced today that it will increase the price of all MDI products and MDI-based systems by a further €200/tonne in the European region, effective July 1, 2010 latest or as contracts allow.

Nick Webster, Vice President, Europe for the Polyurethanes division said: "This price increase is necessary to achieve re-investment economics and to address the ongoing high level of raw material costs for MDI and polyol products”.
