Nizhnekamskneftekhim : Co-dehydrogenation process mastered

Co-dehydrogenation process of butane and isobutane has been mastered at Divinyl and HC Feed Plant of OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim and its subsidiary enterprise OOO NKNH-Divinyl under the program of increase of isobutylene yield for production of butyl rubber.

This process utilizes its own fractions: butane-butylene and total butanes, as well as imported fractions. In the course of dehydrogenation they convert into divinyl and isobutylene fraction that is the feedstock for production of butyl rubber.
