Macchi’s family is sorrow to announce the tragic loss of Alessandro Macchi, happened yesterday in unclear circumstances.

Whilst awaiting the discoveries about the tragedy, it is resolute desire of Macchi S.p.A. Board of Directors and Management the continuity, even in this sad event, on the course set forth by Sandro for the Company’s growth and developments, with the utmost respect of taken engagements.

Sandro Macchi, who joined the structure at the age of 19, has been the key figure on the evolution of the original company, initially a producer of film for packaging applications, in the today leading reality.

The modern and innovative managerial view, the opening to international markets, the passion and dedication for his job – under all the aspects- are all elements who made Sandro a successful manager and a reliable and trusted business partner
