Pure-grade separation of hard plastics and films

In close cooperation with Leiblein GmbH, Hardheim (Baden-Württemberg), SiCon, based in Hilchenbach (North Rhine Westphalia) has developed an innovative concept for pure-grade separation of plastics which is now ready to be brought to the markets. The process called polyfloat® is based on lamella separation known from wastewater purification. This technology concept was transferred to plastics separation and adapted to the special requirements of plastic recycling.

With an incorporated intelligent control technology which allows the use of different fluid densities, a level of purity of ≥ 99% is achieved - all with an overall efficiency so far unheard of. SiCon GmbH delivers turnkey polyfloat® systems including material preparation, drying and process water purification in various performance classes from 0.5. to 5 t/h for all known separation tasks for hard plastics as well as films.
