Arkema increases the prices of its Ethylene-based copolymers

Effective July 1st 2008, Arkema will increase the sales prices of its Ethylene-based copolymer range by €100/T.

This new increase will apply to all of Arkema’s functional polyolefins marketed under the trade names Evatane®, Lotryl®, Lotader® and Orevac®.

This new increase will help offset the relentless rise in raw material, energy and transport costs. Despite efforts to reduce its various costs, Arkema has no choice but to pass on these increases in order to be able to keep on investing in the development and production of performance products fulfilling its customers’ needs.

Arkema’s functional polyolefins are used in a wide range of industrial applications such as heat sealing, cable sheathing, multilayer packaging films, technical polymer modification, solar panels, oil additives, bitumen and inks.
