Arkema raises prices for High Performance Polyamides

Effective May 1st, 2008, Arkema is increasing by 10% on average the prices of its Rilsan®, Pebax®, Platamid® and Orgalloy® high performance polyamides granules. The amount of the increase will reach 15% for dollar invoices, 10% for sterling pounds invoices and 5% for euro invoices.

These price increases have been brought on by a record escalation of energy, raw material and transportation costs, combined with an unprecedented currency evolution, which previous productivity programs and price adjustments have not been able to offset.
