CREON invites you to take part in the Moscow International Conference «Polystyrene and ABS-plastics 2007», which will be held on September 18, 2007 at "Baltschug Kempinski Moscow".
Every year «Polystyrene and ABS-plastics» hosts more than 100 companies interested in development of this sector of polymer industry. Last year conference participants named the foamed polystyrene production as the most promising direction of the branch.
In 2005 SalavatneftOrgsintez started this product manufacturing, SIBUR and NizhnekamskNeftehim also announced their plans on the new facilities commissioning. Russian enterprises also believe ABC-plastics production development to be very important. In 2008 NizhnekamskNeftehim is going to start manufacturing of this production. Nevertheless, despite of the rather fast development of internal polystyrene market (for the period 2000 - 2005 it increased 1,8 times), the conference participants more than once mentioned that domestic enterprises required modernization and substitution of out-of-date polystyrene production technologies. The expected movements in the branch and the changes taken place in the last year are scheduled to be discussed at «Polystyrene and ABS-plastics 2007».
Development prospects of the Russian polystyrene market and its production and processing problems will be also considered at the conference. The major Russian and foreign producers, traders supplying polystyrene plastics from Asia and Europe, as well as polystyrene and ABS-plastics consumers will present their reports.
