The National Petrochemical Company (NPC) the mainstay of Iran's petrochemical industry has planned to play a major role in the Petrochemicals World . Given Iran's huge reserves of oil and gas, NPC is now implementing a strategic plan that will boost its production capacity. With the completion of its current expansion program, NPC's polymers output capacity will reach 5m ton/year by 2005-2006 representing 2.3% of the global share of the polymers market.
