KHIMIA INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION: 40 YEARS ON RUSSIAN EXHIBITION MARKET
The Khimia International Exhibition is a special event for this country’s exhibition industry. Its edition of 1965 was the first show held by Expocentr with participation of both domestic and foreign companies.
From 1965 through 1993 the exhibition was held once every five years; in 1995 it became a biannual event.
The Moscow Khimia Exhibition is the largest branch event not only in Russia but also in the CIS. It is worldwide known as an exhibition of the chemical industry and science.
Since 1975 the Khimia Exhibition has been a registered member of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI); in 1993 it was awarded the Sign of the International Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (IUEF).
This prestigious international event is going to celebrate its 40-year anniversary in 2005.
The Exhibition offers scientific, technical and business circles every opportunity to familiarize themselves with the latest developments in the field of chemistry and petrochemistry, establish beneficial business contacts and sign agreements and contracts.
